A SOUTHWEST BLUES AND AMERICANA-FOLK COLLABORATION Long-time musical collaborators since their teenage years, Cali Shaw and Alex Maryol first made their mark in the late 90s in Santa Fe NM with their short lived high school band Motion Sickness. Both went on to establish their own solo music careers and now they reunite on stage at Unit B February 13th 2026 for a unique showcase of songwriting and musicianship. Their versatility as songwriters and instrumentalists allows them to create a rich, layered sound that defies traditional genre boundaries while maintaining strong connections to their Southwestern roots.

Cali Shaw doesn’t just play music- he builds bridges. With raw, rootsy Americana-Folk and bilingual lyricism, he channels the spirit of the Southwest into songs that dissolve borders and speak directly to the soul.

Alex Maryol, known as a force of nature on the guitar will ignite the evening with his signature southwest blues sound. Get ready for a masterclass in fretboard fire. The performers will be backed by Josh English on drums, Todd Lovato and Justin McLauchlin on bass, Colin Darby on Saxophone, Bryan Highhill on trumpet and Jaimie Harrison on Piano and Synths.
